  • Scott Crowder

    PRESIDENT

    Scott has extensive professional experience in sports/recreation management, marketing, and economic development. He is the founder of the Pond Hockey Classic; Principal of Crowder.co, a consulting firm specializing in marketing, web design, creative services, event consulting and execution; and was a founding partner of Ekal Activity Center, an outdoor recreation shop in Meredith. Recently, Scott was the first Director of the Office of Outdoor Recreation Industry Development for the State of New Hampshire where he was tasked with taking a piece of legislation and building a functioning state office. Scott established the foundation and strategic direction for the ORID office and included NH in the national conversation surrounding Outdoor Recreation by joining the Confluence of States and Outdoor Recreation Roundtable. Scott has also served on various tourism, economic development, and non-profit boards around the state. Scott resides in Meredith with his wife and three daughters.

  • Ericka Canales

    SECRETARY

    Growing up in New England, Ericka has always had a passion for living in mountains. With over 25 years experience in local, state, federal, non-profit and small business industries, including owning a veterinary business for 10 years, she has found a way to weave it all together to support all types of small businesses as the Executive Director of Coös Economic Development Corporation in Lancaster, NH. She has a Master's Degree in Environmental Planning and Policy and currently serves on her town's planning board, master plan committee and Northern Forest Center's outdoor rec committee. When she can get away from her volunteer duties, you will find her gravel and bike packing or coaching skiing at a local resort.

  • Ryann Flynn

    TREASURER

    Ryan is a Financial Advisor at Northwestern Mutual and Adjunct Professor of Professional Sales & Marketing at Southern New Hampshire University. Flynn previously served as Director of Global Sales for Ingik Outdoors and Global Sales Manager for Johnson Outdoors, where he pioneered global sales development, launch, and management for Jetboil, Eureka!, Old Town Canoe and Kayak, and Ocean Kayak.

  • Rudy Glocker

    Rudy loves the outdoors. He enjoys hiking, backcountry skiing, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, kayaking and refreshing swimming holes throughout the White Mountains. Rudy is the Founder of Burgeon Outdoor, whose mission is to create a better tomorrow for mountain communities. Burgeon achieves its mission by donating 5% of its sales to its environmental and community efforts and by designing, testing, and manufacturing its products here in the White Mountains. Rudy resides in Meredith and is blessed to have a lovely wife, Lianne and two wonderful children; Thornton (3) and Emmett (1). 

  • Jessyca Keeler

    Since 2014, Jessyca Keeler has been the President of Ski New Hampshire, a non-profit, membership-based trade association that represents alpine and cross-country ski areas across the state.  Like so many in the ski industry, she got her start as a snow reporter, and for many years worked in corporate sponsorships within the industry.  At Ski NH, she has a lot on her plate: advocating for the industry across issues such as workforce development, housing, sustainability, safety, land and water use regulations, and labor laws; working to develop educational and networking opportunities for members; and developing promotional programs and campaigns. In her spare time (a rare commodity) she likes to do anything that gets her outside, which sometimes simply involves birding in her backyard.

  • Sara Lawhead

    Sara Lawhead has a diverse work experience in the outdoor industry. Sara is currently the Vice President of Product Management and Innovation at Gathr Outdoors, where she oversees product development and innovation. Sara was previously the the Senior Brand and Product Manager for Jetboil and Eureka! at Johnson Outdoors Inc. On weekends, you’ll find Sara and her husband, Kevin along with their 2 kids; Madelyn and Jack and black lab Scout exploring outside.

  • Chris Thayer

    For over three decades, Chris has worked for the Appalachian Mountain Club and is currently Director of External Affairs and Contracts, responsible for developing and maintaining productive state and federal partnerships that provide the foundation for delivering high quality public services. With mission-based experience managing outdoor operations and programs, Chris has developed a deep understanding of New Hampshire’s outdoor industry and has an enormous amount of contacts throughout the State. Chris resides in Sugar Hill with his family and enjoys four season adventures from his home base.

  • Samantha Rokos

    Sam lives in Dover, NH and works at NEMO Equipment as the Brand Engagement ManaWer. orking with the camping gear company for 7 years, she helps manage NEMO's PR, ambassador and partner relations. Moving to the Seacoast from Upstate NY, Sam enjoys spending her time cycling, running and skiing.

  • Chet Clem

    Chet is President of Lyme Properties, a real estate development company based in West Lebanon, NH that aims to build places people give a damn about. With degrees in Environmental Policy and Entrepreneurship, and a previous life as the Editorial Manager of The Onion, Chet takes a creative approach to issues at the crossroads of economic development and the environment. Chet lives in the Upper Valley with his wife Julie, twins Gus and Winnie, and a dog of uncertain heritage named Willie Nelson. He is a trail advocate, mediocre skier, occasional fly-fisherman, and serial enthusiast.

  • Cheryl Reardon

    Charyl is President of the White Mountain Attractions Association (WMA), which is responsible for visitor services, public relations, and promotion of attractions for its members in New Hampshire’s White Mountains to markets around the world. A New Hampshire native and graduate of Plymouth State University, Reardon joined WMA in 1999 and served as Operations and Marketing Manager.

  • Kyla Brustin

    Kyla Brustin serves as the North & Central Regional Director for the New Hampshire Small Business Development Association. Kyla possesses the SBA's Export and Trade Counseling Certificate and is a NASBITE International Certified Global Business Professional. Before joining the NH SBDC in 2022, Kyla launched and successfully expanded a vacation rental management company, which she sold to a national brand. She is proud to play a role in helping the economy of the White Mountains by strengthening the local business community and working with economic development partners. Outside the office, you can find Kyla hiking, skiing or running in the White Mountain National Forest, or working in her garden.

  • Jada Lindblom

    Jada Lindblom, Ph.D., is a Community and Economic Development Field Specialist for University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension, based in Belknap County, and is affiliated faculty in UNH’s Recreation Management and Policy Department. Jada’s Extension work focuses on tourism and outdoor recreation development with particular attention to resident quality of life and sustainability. Previously, she has worked in nonprofit management, outdoor guiding, environmental education, and hospitality.

  • Dr. Elizabeth A Burakowski

    Dr. Elizabeth A Burakowski is a Research Faculty member in the Institute for the Study of Earth, Oceans and Space and Affiliate faculty in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of New Hampshire. Burakowski’s research focuses on winter climate change in the northeastern United States, including what changes we've seen in the past, what we can expect for the future, and the impacts on outdoor recreation communities
