Access to Nature and Economy

  • Rochester City Hall 31 Wakefield Street Rochester, NH, 03867 United States (map)

We welcome community volunteers, professionals, and students of all types to join us for an interactive panel and walking tour to explore how access to nature supports a community’s economy and quality of life. Our panel will feature local business perspectives, municipal staff, and community volunteers working on economic development and conservation. After the panel, we will take a brief walking tour to see spaces where Rochester is working to improve access to nature as part of its economic development work. The tour will be rain or shine.

Registration is free but space is limited. The event will be held at Rochester City Hall on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 9-11am. Please sign up here!

This event is being organized in partnership with the City of Rochester, Granite Outdoor Alliance, and the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension and is supported by UNH Collaborative Research Excellence.Contact Dr. Shannon Rogers with questions, accommodation requests or to receive more information. shannon.rogers@unh.edu
