Wildflower Identification

Have you visited the SLA campus in the spring? There is a whole section full of beautiful wildflowers down by the docks! Would you like to learn what species they include? Join the SLA for an afternoon of wildflower identification, with special guest host Dave Sharkey, formerly a horticulturist with a lot of knowledge of local flora. Take a walk along the scenic shore of Piper Cove and learn some techniques for identifying wildflower species.

What to Bring:  Please wear appropriate clothing for walking outdoors, sun protection, and bug protection if you'd like.

Audience: All ages are welcome, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
