Do you want to experience a new way to cherish the springtime sunshine? Join Lakes Region Conservation Corps members Alexa and Meaghan for an afternoon of creating sun prints with cyanotype paper! Cyanotype is a type of photography that dates back to the mid 1800s. During this program, we’ll use plants that we collect around the SLA campus and the power of the sun to create beautiful nature inspired prints. Participants will get to practice this centuries old photography technique and will each get to take a print home!
What to Bring: Participants should wear clothing appropriate for spending time both indoors and outdoors! We will be spending some time outdoors during this program to collect plants for our sun prints.
Audience: Everyone is welcome! All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration: Space is limited to 15 participants. Registration is required. Click here to register for this program.
