The Squam Lakes Association is excited to celebrate the opening of the Whitten Woods Mountain Bike Trail. The gathering will start at 3PM in the Whitten Woods parking lot located on Ashland, NH on Highland Street. Partners on the trail building project will say a few words, followed by a group bike ride led by the Pemi Valley New England Mountain Bike Association and a group hike led by SLA staff. These trails are the first official mountain bike trails managed by the SLA. The trail was built in collaboration with the National Civilian Community Corps and the Pemi Valley New England Mountain Bike Association.
