Q&A with Traci Bisson, Owner/Founder/Adventure Guide:

What does the outdoor economy mean to your organization?

New Hampshire has a wealth of hiking and walking trails as well as many land preservation and conservation organizations dedicated to protecting as much land as possible throughout the state. We are grateful for their dedication to keeping trails well marked and safe for all to enjoy.

Why do you believe it is important to support the outdoor industry in New Hampshire?

The outdoor industry supports a community of people who value the beauty our state offers and are dedicated to protecting. It is important to us to support those communities and organizations that connect us through nature.

Granite Outdoor Alliance has four pillars of focus: economic development/infrastructure; conservation/stewardship; workforce/education; and health/wellness. Which pillar excited you most about joining GOA and why?

All 4 pillars provide a clear focus to the organization and its members. We value them all but include health/wellness as part of our core beliefs and values - We believe that time spent in the natural world reduces stress, increases happiness, and improves the health of dogs and their people.
